Anybody have any info about this particular chain? Ill be fishing it the end of April. Checked some maps and even the winter haven site. No maps except for directions. Checked the bait and tackle stores for websites-none-can you believe that. They seem to be a popular spot, had a large pro tourney there last year. Any info or possible links to find out more would be mucho appreciated. I believe there are 9 lakes connected by canals, dont know much more. Located in Polk county w/central Fl. 8)

yeah actualy i fished the day after that large trny. and this is when i didnt know how to fish tournyies very well, so my partner got 13 lbs and i got skunked and they wouldnt let me have a shot at a bedding fish told me to sit down. made me mad.
But on the important note. we fished shallow and w/ weightless flukes. play around the kiss. grass w/ that and its a good lippless crank lake silver black back around the cattails. they were bedding early so watch for that. thats all ive got for that. Kevin |

Best lakes: Wintersett and Lulu
That time of year: offshore scattered smaller areas of grass using soft jerk baits right through the grass and watch for hit on fall- depth breaks with rattle traps and spinner baits- also watch for shad busts for surface baits.
