I have been fishing a little farm pond where I moved to and the water is stained brown, there is some visability. I have tried everything I have in my box and the only things i catch are little babies. I have thrown jigs, cranks, spinners, buzz, lizards, finnese, and I have even added scent to my soft plastics. What else is there to try?

Try painted blade spinnerbaits,or copper bladed spinnerbaits.Cast back to the same areas more than you normally would, also a buzzbait might help you. Maybe the pond has too many fish so the fish may not get as big as they normally would get. I hope this helps, P N J

Single Colorado Bladed spinner bait. A Jitterbug worked all different kinds of speeds/pauses/longer pauses/etc.. Is there a runoff into the Pond? And what size is the pond and what cover does it have. Some ponds are GREAT, some are so-so, and some are poor. Many variables can affect the ponds, and dramatic changes are more likely to occur in small ponds than larger lakes. Just because it has water in it, doesn't mean it's a great fishery.

if u haven't already u might try a shallow running crank that goes about 2-3 ft. and i've caught pretty nice fish in ponds on tubes. i don't use these but i've heard in-line spinners work good in ponds. or maybe a power worm
