Am I the only freak who really loves...

Bass fishing. Â*My friends say I am obsessed, and I am sure other people think I am a freak. Â*I talk about fishing, I read about fishing, I watch Fishing on T.V., I look at fishing stuff on the internet (thats how I found this sight), I could probably be happy just fishing. Â*Is that normal? ??? or am I a Freak?

I've gotten the heat for years cause all I do is fish. I think it goes back to the time when I failed my freshman year in HS cause I spent all day in class reading fishing mags.

My girlfriend is a therapist. So it now stands that I am legally obsessed. I can show the papers to prove it. Matter of fact if anyone needs papers to show for an excuse at work or school drop me a line and I'll rush you papers. I am also a vol firefighter and here in Pa if you are fighting a fire or doing any type of emergency work before going to work your place of employment cannot fire you. I am going to petition the state to do this for fishing also. Maybe it could be a nationwide movement.

Same here, addicted witth bassin. Although I'm really busy with a lot of schoool stuff right now. I figure the more I do in schoool now, the more fishing I'lll be able to do throughout college.

Totally addicted to bass fishing. One thing I love is my wife is totally ok with it, she knows it keeps me sane . I spend ALMOST everyday after work fishing on some of the area lakes, only thing that is slowing that down is the price of gas.......

Most of the other bass fishing websites/forums that I go to seem to be about bashing each other or the local and area tackle shops. This is a welcome change, Thank you Kevin and all the pleasant members of Kevin's Bass Fishing Message Boards.

Tom, if you reimburse me for the R & D for my glue, I might think about it. However, it's the retirement I really did it for so, when I call my best buds while fishing from the boat at say 8 am, and ask what they're doing and they say working. I say at age 53, I am fishing and its a Wednesday and no boaters in sight. Uh, Oh, Fish ON!!!! :

i work in a school...believe me when i tell you,they don't teach courtesy,respect or honesty..they just stick 'em in front of a computer and teach them how to make greeting cards...and the ones that just need a good a**whoopin are put in special needs classes with their own personal"monitor"...
then they wonder why johnny can't read.
i was just about to get the soapbox,so i'll leave this one alone for now..

i have no idea why all these kids get computers? in my school, i only have one class that goes to the computer lab, and that is only when we do powerpoints. BTW,its my history class, go figure. we just got done learning about the civil war. what an interesting topic. i actually learn alot in school, and im not one of those geeks either. i actually talk in alot of my classes, and still get good grades. i guess i really can talk and learn at the same time.

Stay in school and pay attention. Bassfishing is not a cheap sport. In order to fish all the time you will need a way to make $$$$. No money- no fishin stuff. 8)
