Good thing you didnt ask what the best line is cause BassFisher02 would have been all over you.............. ;D ;D
I like Power Pro braid. Its either 30 or 40 pound test that has the diameter of 10lb. test. I also like Cajun Cast 12 pound test. I also like to use Berkly Vanish 10lb. for clear water. Trilene does good to. |

It depends on the application. For spinning rods I use 8 lb and for baitcasting I use 12 lb green Trilene XL. For worms, jigs, pitching and flipping I use 50 lb Powerpro braid-has the same diameter as 12 lb mono.

I like Trilene Big Game. It casts and handles pretty good and has good abrasion resistance. Most Bass Pros recommend and use it also. Get some. 10bl line works good for me.

Spinning, I use Stren Extra Strength. usually 4-10 lb. test. Love using 4 lb. mono on St. Lawrence Smallies... the fight is unbelievable. My baitcasters are rigged up with 20 lb. power pro.
