Well on vacation I thought about using baits I have'nt used in a while. First bait I never usually go to is a spinner bait, don't ask why cause I don't know. But all I can say is I should have started using them a little sooner. Man I was hooking them left right and center on them(with a twister tail trailer) In weed beds they were working great, weedless floats across mats very well. now I did notice a difference between the colorado and the willow blades. The willow blades were working the colorado weren't. I don't know why but that was the type for the day. didn't matter what color I had on it still was catching the fish. I also fished some Zilla's with great sucess caught a pig of a small mouth and a few big largies as well. also with my river fishing trip I was using jigs and tubes with great results. as you will see from the pic's I'll post later. never pass up a lure or bait in your box you haven't used in a while you regret it later!

Oh ya when the spinners were catching I went to wally world and bought all the 1/4oz spinners they had proved that the monkey also follows you on vacation as well! ;D
