Default Fishing Gloves

Hello all, it's been awhile. I'm now fishing a Bass club that runs from Febuary-October. Since I'm living up north, alot of times I'm fishing lakes in sub-freezing weather. Earlier this year I was fishing on a lake and ice was forming on my eyelets. I was wondering, aside from the Hot Shot brand gloves, are there any sporting gloves that I can wear that will keep my hands warm and not get chewed up by the braided line I got on my baitcaster?

I tried the Hot Shot gloves, because they were recommended to me from some bow hunter friends of mine. I found the wind cut right through them and the Power Pro chewed right through the rubber grip they have on the thumb. A sporting goods seller told me that Shakespeare or Berkley make a pair of gloves for winter fishing, but I haven't been able to find them anywhere. Is there anything anyone could suggest? I'm making my Christmas list already.
