Bubby Rigging a Grub
Use a wide gap hook on a grub and once rigged, crimp a splitshot underneath on the hookshaft about halfway the distance from the eye of the hook to the point.
Â* When swimming, it's fairly normal, but when on the bottom and being dragged along the nose will bounce down and touch the bottom occasionally, looking like a feeding minnow. Â*It will also produce a little noise and kick up a little silt along the way. Â* If you learn to twitch gently without moving it much, you can get it to appear feeding in a bass's nesting area. |
