Powerbass, Never feel stupid about not knowing something. There is not any one here that does know everything. We are here to learn new things from someone who has some knowledge or help on the subject.A good pair of polarized glasses will help you see different weed types in the water. Fish around the pond or lake and identify the weed type from where the bass are caught. You do not even havre to know the name just know what it looks like so when you visit a different pond or lake you can identify it and start catching bass quicker. I hope this helps. You can look up weed types if you want to know the names of the plant. Here in NY state, Milfoil is what you are looking for to find alot of bass in a area.I hope this helps. P N J

Excellent suggestion, I have a nice pair of prescription polarized sunglasses, Amber colored. Waiting on Maui Jim to make the ones I want in prescrition for the Darker lenses.
