I'm a hell of a lot more afraid of insects like fire ants and other poisonous bugs than I am of snakes. Â*The thing about snakes is that they're big enough, if you don't like them, you'll notice them, and get away. (BTW liz, I have seen water snakes strike lizards and I have had run-ins with them, but water snakes bites are completely harmless, their bite won't break the skin.) Â*Spiders on the other hand scare me to death. Â*You don't know where they are going to be or anything. Â*Scariest thing is being in fl we have HUGE spiders. Â*One of the scariest things I ever saw was a spider as big as my hand bolt across the floor...scary. Â*I've also had cockroaches crawl in my hair... it was a big one too.
Â* Â* To sum it up... Â*I think its just that me and bf both live in florida. Â*Things that creep and crawl are a fact of life here, Â*especially when one spends so much time outdoors. Â*We've gotten used to things that may be considered dangerous by other people and we are able to deal with it and not squirm when they are around, therefor we don't get bit by anything that can harm us, cause we know how to treat them. Â*I can see where everyone else is coming from though.

You are a funny man, LMAO ;D

I'm here to tell ya'll that fire ants will eat you alive. I've got caught standing on an ant pile and they left about 10 itchy and infectious spots on my ankles.
No I'm not afraid of fire ants, but I'll stay away from them.
Snakes share a different situation, if I see a snake that I know is not poisonous I.E. a black snake, then I'll just press on. If I see a copperhead then I'll take action.
Rats, spiders, and monsters are on my do not do list.
