Have a safe trip home!
I'd grab a jig-n-pig and work the timber, or a slow moving crank like a suspending jerkbait. Â*I would also concentrate on the NW side of wherever you are fishing since it gets the most sunlight and would warm up fastest. Â*I'd also sleep in and go during the "heat" of the day-say, 10-4 when the temperatures are the warmest. |

Jigs, suspending baits worked slowly around the brush.

Re: wooo hooo
a swimbait would also work if fished slowly almost dragged along the bottom. or on the other end of the spectum try a lipless crank bait burnt over deep grass beds.

Southernsnatcher,
You could try a shallow running flat lipped crankbait in the tree tops. Chartruese seems to come to mind. |

Re: wooo hooo
Yeah I know what you're gonna say, but here it comes anyway, use a lizard or fluke weightless around the timber, with twitches periodically. If those don't produce I would go with a PJN or weighted t-rigged plastic around the timber. If you have a choice, fish the stained/muddier water first, since it warms quicker, and as stated the North side also warms quicker. Don't be afraid to fish 3'-4' but I would concetrate more on 6'-10' if possible. As already stated, be ready to relax, and fish very slowly, bring warm clothes and layers, and just go SLOW Hope you catch a Hawg or 3.
