When you are using a jig, can you just reel it in at a constant pace? If not, what is the proper way to fish a jig?

You can do that but about the only time I would is if you were fishing grass and a spinnerbait would get grass rapped up on the blades then I would use a jig. The main way to use one is crawling it and hopping along the bottom like a crawfish.

ya or you can pull it up and let it sink that works but most of the strikes will come on the sink.
