I have a eagle ultra classic depth finder on the front of my boat. The last week it hasn't been coming on all the time. When it does, It may stay on 30 min. and then it cuts off and won't turn back on. I know it's not the unit because it works fine if I plug it up at the back of the boat. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem from time to time with my depth finder, normally its a bad connection at the base of the unit mount or in the wire extending to the battery.

I bet it's the connection, not getting together well enough. If not follow the power cord, and check any splices, or fuses. Not difficult to do. If you need to splice anything, make sure you use water proof connectors.
