MICHAEL,
Â* Â* If your boat windshield is like the ones I have owned, there are small rubber grommets between the screws and the windshield. (Windscreen if your English) These grommets serve as shock absorbers, and tightening the screws down without them may cause the windshield to crack out around the screw holes. Â* Â* I don't know what brand of boat you have, but you may have to contact the manufacturer for replacements, or possibly your dealer may have the grommets in stock. JackL |

MICHAEL,
They should hold just fine if someone hasn't wallowed the screw holes out. It might not be a bad idea to put a little clear aquarium seal on the threads to keep them from loosening up from vibration. JackL |
