Default scum frogs

in the past i have noticed a lot of post about scum frogs, mainly people wanting to know if they work. well i have used them for several years with moderate success, but the last week has moved them back up my list. i have a pond to fish that is completly packed with grass and weeds right up to the surface and i had struggled fishing it, that is up until i started using kermit. in three evenings of fishing i have caught three bass around 3lbs, one that weight 6.3lbs. my dad caught a 4 plus and my buddy just lastnight caught a 5lber. just want to tell people that they don't work...don't buy them, maybe they will get cheaper and easier to find for me...lol

scum frogs are topwater frogs i believe.....throw it ontop of grass and hydrilla mats, have a stop and go retrieve ontop of the mat....then when the bass hits the bait....wait to feel the fish before you set the hook....

What do you mean by feel the fish? The package says to wait 2 seconds before setting the hook? And at what speed would i fish it in open water, what time of day, cloud cover, or is it just an all around type of lure? Oh and Sports Authority has 20% off all Zoom products!!!!

just wait a few seconds to set the hook...if not you will pull the lure from the fishes mouth....i like to fish it in the mourning...the evening...and on the hottest day...because fish will stack up under the hydrilla or topwater moss for shade.....i dont fish it open water...i fish a jitterbug or popr in open water...

well christopher bassfisher answered pretty much all of your questions before i could check my post again, but i will tell you that the ones i bought were like $4.00 and i think that on sunny days dark colored frogs work best, and on cloudy days bright colored works best...for me that is. i think that you should check wal-mart because our store has a piss poor selection and even they have some, but not much to choose from. it would be worth your money to give them a shot.
