49'ers and Cardinals. man what a match up ??? Who really cares if it is played in mexico, just as many fans will show up ;D! There is a reason these team consistently have the #1 draft pick each season, they stink!

Re: Who is ready for some football?
They go to MEHICO for the money. These people will cram 100-150 thousand into some of their stadiums, just like when Nascar and them go there and China. These people hate us but love our sports.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Brady: Well, I am a New England fan, but to be honest I think he is rated about right. He is a very accurate thrower, and also is good about throwing it to the right person. Also, as demonstrated in the Pittsburgh game, he can throw downfield.
Moss: Well, I say to look at Corey Dillon. Some people were skeptical because Dillon has had problems before with the Bengals, but he had a clean act with the Patriots and really helped them out. I think the Patriots made a good move getting rid of Ty Law. Huge contract, and they proved they can win without him. |

Re: Who is ready for some football?
went out to the orange and blue game today, huge crowd, biggest orange and blue game crowd in history(58,500 people) and it was a scorchin day. the team looked great. im rerally lookin forward to this season. josh portis looked great, he can run. and the wide rercievers were makin great one handed catches. the defense was also great, good hard hits. i am very optimistic for the season. also, all the colege girls, wow. they were everywhere. but the team is lookin good. the orange ended up winnin, 34-27 i think.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
im not worried about it. urban meyer is turnin this gator football team into a tough bunch of s.o.b.'s ;D everytime someone gets hurt, and he thinks it isnt bad, he makes them walk up and down bleachers with chains around their neck or rocks in their shirt. but he has this way that he does it that doesnt seem cruel. man, what a coach.

Re: Who is ready for some football?
Well thats nothing. He needs to take them out to a field that is in the middle of nowhere, perhaps in the boonies of texas, deny them water, make them practice all day long and sleep in army barracks with tin roofs in the dead of summer - then I will believe he is a great coach!
On a serious note, discipline is great and its good that your guys are working, but it takes more than that to make Meyer a great coach. I don't think his offense matches up well against the type of defenses he will face in the SEC. Its gonna be speed vs speed. |

. . . . . . . . . . . . Florida, our Alma Mater, thy glorious name we praise. All thy loyal sons and daughters, a joyous song shall raise. There palm and pine are blowing, where southern seas are flowing, Shine forth thy noble gothic walls, thy lovely vine clad halls. Neath the orange and blue victorious, our love shall never fail. There's no other name so glorious, all hail, Florida, hail! . . . . . . . . . . . We are the boys from old Florida F - L - O - R - I - D - A Where the girls are the fairest, the boys are the squarest of any old state down our way. Â* *(hey)* We are all strong for old Florida, down where the old Gators play. In all kinds of weather, we'll all stick together. for F - L - O - R - I - D - A . . . . . . . . . . . So Give a Cheer for the Orange and Blue, Waving Forever! Forever Pride of Old Florida, May She Droop Never. Well Sing a Song for the Flag Today, Cheer for the Team at Play! On to the Goal, We'll Fight our Way for Florida! . . . . Its Great to be a Florida Gator....I said Its Great to be a Florida Gator!!!!! < < < < and THAT is the Forida way...... Re: Who is ready for some football?
Doug Flutie as the backup quarterback.
He's already warmed up by catching foul balls at Red Sox games. Troy Brown is back, and Richard Seymour could be as well. Looks like the Colts aren't winning this year either. ;D j/k |

Who hasn't heard of Southern Miss? The best team from the state of Mississippi, the giant killers who beat the Bear, the school of Brett Favre?
