Not The best of Ideas! I use 12 lb yo zuri and i caught 6 lbers on it like it wieghed 2 stick with heavier line!

I would never go lower than 8lb test I use 17lb test so i know if i hook a big fish theres a lot less chance of losing him.

10lb is good but use what you want anything between 8-25 i would say is great for bass. IF you use braid though theres lots of Test sizes u can use.

I use ten with no problem and dont have problems with our crazy Florida Weeds.

4lb is good depending on what u use it for
me personally? i use: 4lb on ultra-light spinner 5' 6lb on light spinner 6' 10lb on 2 medium/medium light spinners 6'6" 14lb on 2 medium heavy bait-casters each rod has a specific lure type that is usually on it |
