I find it to be pretty weedless. Its just like any other lure when it comes to moss and other "slimy" weeds but when it came to cattails, i never got stuck once. I would sometimes get stuck a bit, but the hooks came out and I retrieved my bait. Sometimes it wouldn't even get hooked, just slide by them. Anyone thats hooked into a good cattail or two knows its like the lure graveyard if you can't get to your bait. I love the chatterbait.

I had to buy one of these suckers because of all the talk about them. Man they are expensive. I caught a few pike today but couldnt get any bass to speak of.

ya i can't wait to try these at a pond and a canal i fish. Hoefully i can use it at a couple lakes this summer. Anyone have success with these in upstate NY?
