dick's sells this lure discription
The Chatter Bait from Rad Lures is the hottest bait going right now! With several major wins credited to the Chatter bait and many others that are not talking. Do not get left behind! This bait is truly unbelievable, as you swim this jig through the water you would think there was a crankbait tied on as the throbbing action of the Chatter Bait is intense. The side to side swimming motion of the Chatter Bait offers a lifelike presentation not seen before and is a sure fire fish catcher! It's not often that something this unique hits the market and supplies will be limited ACT NOW to get your Chatter Baits. |

I still do not have a chatterbait. I've been looking for the lure in the stores but haven't found it.

What is a chatterbait? Is it anything like a helicopter lure or banjo minnow?

Well the old chatterbait boated a couple 2 lbers. But the big story was right before dark I had about a 6lber break me off 20ft. from the boat. Woulda been the biggest fish I ever caught. Guess next time I'll remember to set my drag after I respool my line!

Last night I was using a 1/2 oz blue black (silver blade) and pulled a couple out by parrelling docks. I also have a white/chartruse which I plan to use this weekend on Beaver at our tourney (about 3 inches of rain got it nice and muddy) might also give the blue/black a try. But I'll probally work the old wacky worm quite a bit (that's what the 6lber took home with her) at least they're only like $3 a bag

The black/red and white/red look like some pretty fishy colors. I have one of the chartreuse, black/blue, chartreuse/white, white, a brownish color?, black/red, red/white.
The ones at Dicks are also a dollar cheaper than whats being sold on the internet right now. They are the new version I believe that have the colored blades instead of the prism tape. |

Stopped at a Dick's in my home area, because I heard they were to carry them. My local store isn't really very good at maintaining a decent stock, and I rarely stop in anymore, but I went anyway. Had a decent supply in 3 sizes and 7 colors. So I bought a few, I have been waiting to find them at a reasonable price. Dick's are $5.99, and they have the colored blades, in chrome, gold and black dependant upon the skirt/head color.

Well I'm sold on the chatterbait. Used it in my tourney today and it landed me a 3.5 and a 5 lber the two biggest fish I've caught. I caught about 20 fish total. I was using a white/chart 1/4oz. Just slow rolling it then along the bluffs jiggin it right up on them. Muddy water and clear water worked great. Just needed one more keeper to get in the money...guess there's always next time.
