It might of been something else, but the pond was clearer than usau so I think the fish werent used to seeing line or something ??? Â*Because I fished there for 2 hours and the one hour that I had mono on I fished all the hotspots that usaully get me one fish atleast, and not a bite. Tried lots of differnet baits too. I think it doesnt mater for crankbaits and other fast moving lures and muddy water, but slow lures in clear water that requires you to let the bass eximine it, it might effect it a bit. Again, it could of been something else, but I tie some on for inscurence in clear water. I caught 5 fish in the same spots before the leader got cut off.

Just my two cents but fish "see" a lure with their horizontal line more than their eyes alot of time. So alot of times that makes a difference.

THe cajun line was originally created do to more bites, the red color came from our OPP companies weed eater monofilament, long story, refer to other post from sometime back. PS, I don't fish with it, but don't tell anybody ;D

no and I think fish can also pick up the heavier drag of line with their lateral lines in the water making lighter line the better choice for light cover.
