the biggest piece of #$%^ that Roland Marting ever endorsed. Dont waste money on them. Buy a pack of hooks or something!

They work, but not well though. My buddy had a lot of bass smash his Helicopter Lures but rarely got a hook set into the fish. If the designers of the lure could come up with a better hook placement, then there'd be a lot more fish caught on these things.

I am one of those guys who has bought just about every lure from just about all the tv show hosts. The Helicopter was probably the least succuessful lure I purchased. I wondered to myself, how can this be...they work so well on TV? But alas, I never caught a bass on the Helicopter lure, although I did get a few strikes draggin it over weed beds.
I think the hook placement was partly to blame as well. Anyone remember the Hank Parker "Ungelator" ?

i had a farm pond that i knew held fish, (i put em there) but after fishing it for 2 years had never caught a thing. someone gave me a pack of the pink helicopter lures and i caught one a fish on about every cast with them things. i tried it elsewhere and didnt even get a bite. i used a treble hook coming out of the back by the blades i guess you would call them and didnt have any trouble with hook ups. but all in all they were a worthless lure. save your money and dont bother with them things

My suggestion is to list them on ebay, and hope some other sucker will pay you for it
