Hef-things are heating up on Falls now. Had a tourney there last week where 5 fish weighed in at 27 lbs. Big fish was 8. Try crank baits in the cuts off main points, find the creek channels (look for cooler water), and c-rig with a natural color centipede, or lizard. Top water is working there early and late. Don't pass up any rip-rap you pass, trust me, throw a silver & red rattle trap parallel. This lake holds some really big fish, and if you can get out there during the week the fishing is great. If you are going to Raleigh, I would fish lake wheeler before I would falls, small lake, not water skiers, and not half the pressure. Good luck, and tight lines.
