Default When it's rather windy and they wont hit spinners?

Windy, cooling water, spinnerbaits. Sounds like September and October to me. Sounds like today.

On these windy days usually a heavy, fast lure like a spinnerbait can keep the line tight, but what happens when they won't hit them? Anything fast like crankbaits or such, or heavier stuff like jigs?

Worms don't really work because the wind blows and the line won't stay tight and it's hard to feel a fish. What do you guys do in wind when the spinnerbait fails? ???
