Default Bluegill eaten by Bass!

I went out fishing really early this morning around 7 o'clock and was just going to catch some bluegills to have for lunch... I was reeling in a small bluegill, and a huge bass came up and hit the bluegill and I pulled really hard and landed a bass which measured 25 inches long!!!

nick are you having problems in the perspective area? ;D that would be 1 inch over 2 feet. thats a nice bass. except i do see what you mean, that could be a very skinny bass? so weight would give a better perspective.

I went fishing this morning, started fishing for bluegill so that I'd have some live bait for the bass. Didn't take long to pull them in on the berkly micros. I wish there was a bass bait that worked like the berkly micros do on the bluegill. What makes yall think the fish is skinny? He didn't mention weight.

A 25" bass would weigh around 9lbs. Did you measure it or are you just guessing? Did you take a picture? Seems to me it would have been hard to hook if the hook was in the bluegills mouth unless the bass swallowed it. But the way you talked tou didn't give it time to swallow it.

now remember, chip got that award for the longest bass in michigan or something like that, and it was 27'' and it didnt weigh 9lbs. it weighed 7 i think. the bass could have been skinny and long. doesnt have to be fat to be long.

Caught a bass once that was 24" long and weighed 6.4.
That of course was after laying in the back of the trunk of the car for 30 mins.
Granted, I was like 15.
Never will let this happen again.
