I just do not like anyone's braid. Sure makes for some trouble when trying to fish it. Power Pro has a wax type coating on it that will sometimes stick. Guess I'm just from the old school, braid just don't feel right, even though I sell it. I think the best line one could use on a spinning reel is Izorline XXX Mono. This stuff is sweet. We sell it on our site, along with "Spectra Braid" But you can save big bucks by not using it. LOL Lakeguide

I use it only on baitcasters and then only on the single-hook baits like worms and jigs. I use mono for most other applications.

I used it on spinning reels and it did the job for me. I am going to use it this year on the baitcasters I now have.

Both. And I have no problems with it whatsoever..It will work well on either style reel.

Hey,just spooled up a reel with some power pro . Can i spray the line with reel majic? To help it slide through the guides and keep it from sticking together?
Or does the line handle better with use? Let me know.

Power pro is stiff at first. Once it gets wet and you start to use it the handling is great. I spray reel magic on mine everytime I finish fishing. 8)
