how to fish tubes
never been much in to tubes. i'm fishing in an area where the bottom is covered in thick grass. i've caught a bunch of bass that still had crawfish sticking out of their throats so i want to try some tubes. i'm thinking that if i use weights with the tubes that they will get covered in grass. is it still good to fish them weightless? any other ideas to keep me out of the weeds?

They make a jig hook with a weight on it. Slide the head of the weight inside the Tube and force the eye out the side of the tube and leave the hook out the bottom of the hole. The jig heads are a watermelon shape so they go in real easy. Good Luck

I never fish them weightless, I always use a bullet weight jighead or something. It takes forever for them to sink without a weight and you just can't work it the same.
