getting back into fishing
hi all, (great forum by the way!!)
well ive decided to get back into the fishing game,though i'm going to do it diffrently this time. back in the day i was pretty much the live bait, bobber using kind of guy, never got into using lures...but i think now im going to use nothing but lures. i live about 30 miles or so straight west of chicago & we have some pretty decent lakes & ponds out here ,some of which have very large bass, channel cats, muskies. some of the replies to the posts ive read have been very helpful especially as to what kind of lures work best for certain times of day and what colors to use e.c.t since im a lure virgin im sure ill have tons of questions for you pro's out there ill be sure to post a pic of my very first Bass caught on a lure well take care & I'll talk to you all again soon 8) |

Welcome and glad you enjoy the site. Have fun and ask away. You might want to read the "Articles" section in the front of this site, has some great info. Also http://www.bassresource.com has about everything you could need as far as info on bass fishing.

welcome to the forum, take off your shoes and relax. keep the waders near tho, it gets deep. also, pick up the baitmonkey to the left, you will become very familiar with him as he will drag you into every tackle store out there, and he will get you to spend some seroius $$$. have fun, and read the articles, and ask away.
