Re: Whiz Bang
FatCat, Is the paint finish too heavy to see the serial number stamped in it ? I sure would like to have a 1964 model, but I am always looking for all whiz-Bang lures.P N J

Re: Whiz Bang
Hey PnJ,
I can only make out this series of numbers, 1x000-7X the rest has been worn off. I wish I had the complete set of numbers. I do know that this was the series that was manufactured in Arizona. |

Re: Whiz Bang
I have tried to take a few pics but my dig camera always seems to get messed up when documenting my Whiz Bang. I will keep trying.

Re: Whiz Bang
Powerbass,
Did you get yours imported from Turkey? I heard that they were going to sell a few, but only in reserved quantities. I am thinking about selling it to this guy in Italy that has showed alot of intrest. He said he would pay up to 2,000. What do you think? |

Re: Whiz Bang
FatDirtycat, They only want an original so they can duplicate it exactly. The newer model Whiz-Bangs aren't quite up to par with the original lures.Ain't it funny that you never hear them mentioned on the bass tours. Some one is going to slip on camera one of these days.Remember when they said the pop r lure was their secret lure ? I think we all know which lure it really is. P N J

Trap, The thing about the Whiz-Bang lure, seeing it is not believing in it until you have fished it. This one time is where a picture isn't worth a thousand words.Fishing it is. P N J

Re: Whiz Bang
Cat,
No it was not imported. I got mine from a guy in NYC, in a back alley. PNJ- I would not know how they fish, I am afraid it will get hung up, so I never use it. Does it un hang itself |

Re: Whiz Bang
The newer models have trebs that retract in case it senses no movement due to wood, rock, or the occasional jimmy hoffa pinky....
