Default Tip of the Year

I have found success this year by going back to the basics and fishing old reliables such as a texas riged worm and lures that were good in the past. I think people are really starting to use senkos and new baits out there too much making the old ones new to the bass ;D

I have caught bass on senko type lures and t-rigged worms and old stuff like that also. Its true that lots of peolple use senko type lures these days, but they catch lots of bass, so why not use them??

I still carry a lot of Senkos but it seems like everyone thinks they are a magical bait or something I caught more fish today on a tube Crawfish buy strike king in the same areas that i used the senko.

I think mixing the new and the old together is a great way to keep fish off balance. you can never have enuff weapons .besides,My fishing buddy Jb has introduced
me to some old and new baits.and it has raised my fishing confidence higher than it has evere been. I use
to get on the water and throw the few things i knew and then I thought well, there not bitting. But now I have
so many diff. tactics to come at them with...but all in all
I understand your point....have a great day

Ya i agree I catch just as many bass on jerkbaits as on tiki stiks but i prefer tiki stiks because I catch bigger fish on them.

I like to be different when I go out on the water and fish, because often it helps when the fish have never seen such a lure or technique.
