Default Decent afternoon 6.9lbs

Me and my buddy had a pretty good afternoon. We left work at 16:00 and were on the water by 16:50. 10 minutes later my buddy landed a 6.14lb on a electric blue culprit worm and no more than 20 minutes later I landed a nice 6.9lb followed by a 5.10lb about 15 minutes later on a black/blue jig. Water got calm, fish quit biting, I went home and had a bowl of chilie.

Hef, That is a great day out on the water.Did I mention we still got ice on the ponds and snow in the yard ?I could settle for a bowl of chili as long as it didn't come from Wendys. ;D P N J

P N J,

Â* Â* What's wrong with Wendy's chili? As far as restaurant, fast food joints or canned, it is about the best. Our Wendy's here uses up the hamburger that they did not sell the evening before, so it is almost 50% meat and the right amount of beans.

JackL

Oh, I forgot, you are from up north where they think chili is sweet gravy with hamburger in it. I got a bowl in DC airport and had to add two chopped up jalapino's and half a bottle of Louisana hot sauce to it before it
was edible. The waitress watched me add the "fixins" and got real wide eyed when she said " your not from around here, are you"!

I think PNJ was referring to the missing digit found in the Wendy's chili. ;D

My chilie recipie. Grill either steak or chicken breast. Cut that up and throw in pot with onion celery garlic tomatos and canned tomatos/with chilies. Spice it as needed to taste. NO BEANS.

Gotta have the beans!

I worked at a Wendy's when I was in school. The chili meat was from burgers that were on the grill too long...they get nice and tasty that way. Anyway, does anyone know of a device that I could attach to my reel to help me reel in my lures. I had an accident while working at Wendy's and accidentily sliced off my finger and now it's a pain to work the handle on my reel...oh forget it, I'll just suffer.
