Default How to rig worms so they cast.

I have learned a lot about different ways to use worms from you guys. How do make them so they will cast? Do you use sinkers and if so how and where do you place them? If you got any set up techniques please advise. Thanks.

Go with a texas-rig and use a slip sinker above the hook, I like to use the end of a toothpick and peg the sinker about 2 inches above the worm so the sinker don't slide up and down the line. Just insert the end of a toothpick at the end of the sinker and break it off, then slide the sinker about 2-4 inches abouve the worm.

also, use a worm hook. not just a plain hook, these hooks have a L-shape at the top of them. i like the ewg hooks.

I fish most of mine weightless. The casting will come with practice. The more you cast them, the better you will get with them.
