I have tried it before and was really pleased with it. Seems to be some good line.

seaguar is awesome. very, very, very castable with almost no memory. and this stuff is strong. a dollar or 2 more but worth 10 times that much in my opinion. i have carbon pro on my flipping stick, and invizx on several of my casting rods. i would suggest invizx but carbon pro is just about as good.

I use the Seaguar Carbon Pro for my DS leaders and love it.

I like XPS Fluoro better than the Seagar but the Invisix is pretty good stuff too.

I tried some 20# Seagur Invisix and it was so stiff I couldn't use it. Granted that was heavy line, but I have been using the Vicious Fluoro and like it much better plus it is a lot cheaper.

links that is odd. i have never had trouble with seaguar invizx being stiff, carbon pro is a little more stiff than invizx but still i don't think it is all that stiff for flouro.

Seaguar is what I use for my trolling rigs fluorocarbon leader material is the best I have found for hootchie rigs, or the horse fly variety types.I am at odds whether it is really neccessary to use it, but I hate changing something that is working so well.I also liked the carbon pro, just changed last summer to P-Line Halo. I was given a spool to try and it is also a good line.

Heard a lot of good things about it, but once I tried the Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon-NOT Vanish-I found my fluorocarbon line.

Invizx rocks. It is the first true FC line I've tried and I see no need to look any where else. I have only used 6# test though for drop shotting.
The new berkely is too expensive for my blood. I get Invizx for $12.97, 200 yds. locally.

I might try the 17# Invis-X for my Flippin Stick/Daiwa Fuego this year.

I'm with Rebbasser, Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon is the only Fluorocarbon I'll use. I don't really have anything else to offer to this conversation.

i have never had a good experience with any kind of trilene, don't really care for stren but i prefer it over berkley (odd isn't it, since they are made by the same company?) but i have heard a lot of people say they like trilene's new flouro, if seaguar ever gives me a reason to switch i may try it but i love seaguar and see no reason to switch so far.

See? Line is line. I believe it all comes down to confidence. I never liked Stren because it was too stretchy and snapped too easily for my tastes. Up until I found Power Pro (with the help of this forum), the only line I would ever use was Trilene XL. I still use 8lb. XL on my crankbait rod.
I suggest, if you have a reason to switch brands, OR if you feel the desire to switch brands; you haven't found the right line for yourself. Once you find what you like, you'll use that brand for that application for the rest of your life... or until the next best thing comes out.

i assume you are talking about stren mono? if so then comparing it to power pro which is braid isn't really fair. now i in no way am saying stren is a great line, for mono i really like p-line but i am just saying it's not really apples to apples since mono will stretch a lot more than braid or flourocarbon for that matter. but you are 100% right about confidence and finding what is right for you. and by the way, when it comes to braid i agree that power pro is second to none.

I was comparing Stren Mono to Trilene XL. I always thought that Stren was too weak and stretchy. It was this personal preference that made me pick up the Trilene 100% Flourocarbon.

I've heard nothing but good about Suffix Elite, (or Siege... Happy Joolz?), so I think I'm going to try it for my Spinnerbait Rod and maybe Crankin' Rod. I'm still kind of stuck between fluorocarbon and monofilament for my Crankin' Stick.

I bought suffix line last year and will never buy it again, i constantly had tangles and snapped very easy if you fished in any kind of stumps. And i do retie a lot but if i got one barb on the line i was screwed.

Tackle Tour did some comparative tests between a lot of the different floro lines. Seagur and BPS floro faired about the best. Pretty interesting stuff. The new Trilene floro wasn't available when they did their tests.

I would go with mono for crankin, because of its shock absorbing stretch, but thats just me.

The biggest problem I had with the Suffix is it wasn't very abrasion resistant. Catch one fish in a brush pile and the line was tore up. A lot worse than other lines I use. If I had been using anything lighter than 17 lb line I would have probably broke off a bunch of fish.
