question of the week
i fished a tourny saturday on a lake -sheron harris- that either clown or red color baits are normally acepted as the ones to use. i was asked by the "dream team" which company made the worm i was using-during that long drive home- i was using a redshad with gold flake worm. i could not then nor now do i know who makes them. as i load them into a plano loose. so for the question
the only info i have on these worms are what is wrote on the side of the worm it self which is:kon-fi-bence then the registered trade mark symbol. who makes them? so i can buy some more... zooker

Re: question of the week
Wait for his answer, if he doesn't tell ya then I will !
I'm one half of the "dream team". We have won every one of the tournaments that we have fished together. Culprit makes a red shad w/green flakes, but as far as the gold flakes, it may be a local co. that produces these. We didn't have any idea. Zook, we caught our fish on American Shad and Aurora black. Gary had American Shad while I had the aurora color. He used a 78 while I use a 97. I'm still laughing at that 6.65 lber that beat my 6.05. |

Re: question of the week
Was the gold flake on just the belly of the worm or all over? The reason I ask is because Mann's used to make one with the flake on just's belly.

Re: question of the week
the flake is all over it .it is a round worm and NOT a rawhide, zoom,or yum -zoom's are flat on one side. oh yeah it has an funny HH in the middle -had to go get a new one-the h's are touching at the center uprights..

Re: question of the week
I'm clueless but the "HH" thing sounds familiar. Course we don't have a ton of different soft plastic manufacturers up here either. Everything you can find here you got down there and is a national brand.

zooker I did find a H & H bait company, but they didn't have any worms I could find. So I give up, unless of course you can show us a picture ???

I still use an H&H rod which I bought perhaps 10 years ago. |

Zooker,
I'm not 100% positive but I believe kon-fi-bence (kon-fi-dence) means floating. |

Re: question of the week
Zooker, I stopped to Wayland to go there, but the store is not there anymore. I was going to tell you that a while back but I forgot to.I knew I had seen the same worm but I couldn't remember where I had remembered the wording on the worms. P N J
