Default Favorite Lure for smallies?

My favorite is using a rattlin rap in firetiger colors near sunken trees for smallies. I let the trap bounce off as much cover as i can. They always seem to hit right after it bumps into something

I would have to say a white spinnerbait. I always seem to catch a big amount of solid fish. I have also found luck with they new reaction innovation baits, i cant find anything better than the black and blue ones. Defenitly have to try them!!

they are the best thing ive found out there right now. I try to put other lures on my line but i always seem to go back to it. The smallies hate them if you know what i mean. haha. People are starting to notice them because i notice every time i go into gander mountain there are less and less.

Gander Mountain is the only place i have seen them. When i went to lake fork they were in a store down there but nowhere else to speak of.

I'd have to say that my go to lures for smallies are tubes first. Then probably hair jigs next and then a spinnerbait. White and chartruse skirt with a single chrome willow leaf blade.

Depends on what the fish want. I use 4 inch tubes mostly but I carry some 2's and 3's and use them on a dart head. It isn't weedless but it really works.

In the rivers of PA I use a hundred tubes and a coffee can of tube hooks. You loose one every 15th cast anyway.
