Default Biggest Bass of My Entire Life!!!!!

Went out this evenging and it was 95 degrees outside, and was fishing a small pond near a railroad, and hooked the biggest bass of my life!!! I was going for bream when I hooked a big *** bass. I was using a 4" Long Renegade curly tail worm, in motor oil color. The scale weighed it in at just under 6 lbs!!! I am so freaking execited!!!

I am fishing a pond thats new to me and I have been tryin too hook one over 5 pounds but I think there are mostly spotts in it..... I have caught a couple largemouths but nothin big........ I know there are some big ones in there cause its over 15 years old and is well upkept....... youll get one twice that big one day if you just keep on fishing for him........

Nice bass!

Being in the Northern part of the U.S. makes it tough to catch bass over 6 or 7 lbs. I live in Iowa and just this year finally broke the 7 lb. mark for the 1st time for an Iowa bass, a nice 7.4 lber pictured below. I have had a dozen or so in the 5 to 6 lb range and 3 or over 6 lbs but this fish was my best yet.

I hope you all can experience a personal best soon!

I wish we had 14 lb Bass here in Iowa, but alas, 10 lbers are about as big as they get here, anything over 7 or 8 here is considered a trophy. I'll be heading South to go after them bigger Bass more often in years to come hopefully.

Nice fish

I guess you're going to have it mounted vs. turning it back in the water? (the livingroom / bass pic was my first clue) lol

Up here in oHIo, you rarely hear of anybass over 8 lbs.
Sure, you get the hipster dufas come to work claiming that his grandson got one 9 lbs at a farm pound, but
after questioning them You discover they never have even weighed a fish in their entire life :

nice fish!!...here 5 pounders are nice fish and you can see them up to 7 pounds alot..but are state record is 10.5 pounds so anything close to that is considered a nice fish.

Congrats, I recently caught the biggest bass of my life too. My fiancee and I went down to Texas to visit her parents, my first time there. They have a beautiful 4000 acre ranch with a 33 acre lake. My first day out fishing there I landed a 13.5 pound 28 inch post spawn largemouth! I caught him on a silver with red tips 1/2 oz. Rat-L-Trap. Needless to say I about sh*% myself when I saw him jump and try to shake my lure! I'm from Maryland and the biggest I've ever caught here was around 8 pounds. I have a pic but I'm having a little trouble inserting it, I'd love to show it off so any help would be appreciated!
