Jitterbugs. Prop baits. Horny toads.

Re: TOPWATER BAITS?
When I'm fishing a pond like that my go-to topwater is a chrome/black back Heddon Tiny Torpedo. I've caught more pond topwater bass on one of those than all other topwaters combined.

Re: TOPWATER BAITS?
Get a Lucky Craft GubFish it walks better than any other topwater I have ever used! You will want a walking bait so u can cover water faster!

seems like I can always provoke a strike with a buzz bait. A buzz bait is my go to lure when I don't know what to throw. You can throw them at so many targets, so many different retrieves, it is a versatile bait.

I would try some smaller scale lures, such as a tiny torpedo, super spook Jr. and so on. Experiment with different lures and different retrieves.
