Default BOBBERS AND LEADERS?

Just a rookie at bass fishing and was wondering if bobbers are are hinderance to fishing---I like to use them just to keep above the weeds but was wondering if they distract or scare fish away. Also do you guys advice using a leader head for quick lure changeovers?I fish in pretty clear river water and am looking to improve my chances. Thanks.

I use a bobber Â*on Â*a second pole and cast with anouther with out a bobber. When i am fishing from shore. I have had luck with it but got mostly little guys from it. I like to use a leader. If you use one with a swivel on it, it helps to keep the line from twisting.

the only time i fish with snap swivels is when im stream fishing smallmouth and i only have 1 or two rods with me to use. Basically to change lures quickly to fish different presentations. Most of the time, if its ultra clear, i go to the smallest one possible, or just a small snap.

For leaders, i believe you're talking the metal variety? i only use them for toothy critters.

i only use boobers for live bait, and i only use live bait for crappie and catfish....some saltwater. and even with crappie alot of times you will find me throwing a in-line spinner before i throw live bait...same with saltwater, i will trow a jig before i throw live.

I use a bobber sometimes and have good luck with it. I only use them in ponds though. I use them with a 4 or 6 inch long worm.

As for leaders I dont like them, they dont work that good for bass fishing. IMO
