Default Summer fishin

Everybody's got there own way of fishin in the summer outta of spawnin season. I aint havn too much luck i wanna hear some other ways so post'em.

They seem to like it better in clear water in the heat of the day opposed to the u-tail worm........... I think its the wiggling action as it sinks that provokes them to bite

If you are still using a weight on those worms then lose it. They want something slow falling and easy to get on these dog days of summer..... You also might want to try the wacky rig showed ya....... Catches fish for me

I have had luck working deep brush slowly in midday with a jig-n-pig, in clear water go with a darker color like black and green but if its murky I'll put on a chartruse 9" plastic worm on a carolina rig and work it slowly in the branches with medium line. In the evening I use finess worms around the edges of weedbeds and fallen trees near shore.
