toxic blue-green algae bloom
Has anybody ever heard of this? They closed down a lake in Utah because of it...
http://www.wildlife.utah.gov/news/09...ttwarner2.html It has killed like 13 head of cattle. I don't think this is a good state for fishing, Unless you like to trout fish. |

Re: toxic blue-green algae bloom
Im not sure, but it is only poisonous during the bloom. The article didn't say if it hurt the fish... Does anybody know if it would?

Re: toxic blue-green algae bloom
UTAH,
It is only toxic during the bloom, and it does not seem to hurt the fish. But I would not eat any of the fish I catch. I am not sure I would even fish the waters for fear of getting the alge started in another lake. JackL |
