Re: spawn info
Well the bass have to spawn sometime so yes it would apply.
This goes back to what we were talking about last month, is the spawn solely triggered by temperature? I think that the length of the day and angle of the sun has a lot to do with it as well as the water temp, so if I am correct then the spawn in a spring fed river would generally happen at the same time as the spawn for other places (maybe a bit earlier if its colder than normal). |

Re: spawn info
In power plant lakes the fish sometimes spawn 2 or 3 times a year, which would point away from the length of day and angle of sun theory and lean towards the temp being the ultimate factor.
I bet there is some definate info on this out there if you do some looking around. |

Re: spawn info
Its funny you mentioned that cullins. Â*Someone told me once that bass can spawn in fall when the water cools down, but then I had another guy tell me that was just plain stupid. Â*
You are right, its not like the bass is some obscure species. The info has got to be out there. |

Re: spawn info
Haven't seen LOU in awhile, but I wonder what the water temps in S. A. are for spawning. ??? I thought that was a good point, water temps have to vary based on locations. Since some parts of the world don't even touch the warmth of others, the reverse for the colder climates. Anyone who knows, I would appreciate some input here also.
