Starting to catch fish!!!!!
Caught a couple small mouths in a river yesterday and caught a blue gill, rock bass, a perch and a couple of smallmouths today on a lake. I am having good luck with mepps black fury and also a plastic minnow with three hooks on belly and three on tail. Also getting lots of bites with a green/yellow mister twister tailed grub on a jig head. Going to buy tiki sticks tomorrow and try them out since people here rave about them so much. Anything else you guys find that works quiet often??? |

Re: Starting to catch fish!!!!!
those ''3 hooks on the tail and belly'' would be treble hooks and that plastic minnow is either a crankbait(if its hard plastic) or a swimbait(if its soft plastic). 8) congrats on the fish.

Way to go,Bass-Tard !Keep at it , getting on the water experience, and you'll get better and better. My advice would be to fish withan experienced basser if possible.Pick up what he knows.I think that's how most of us learned what we know.My father-in-law taught me just about everything I know.
