Starting early.
I am signing up for some tournaments coming up in my area this FEB. The weather down here (in Ga) and the weather is going to probably be cold. I will be fishing as a co-angler, which means I will be fishing from the back. What are some of the kinds of things I can expect to fish with so I can go ahead and get the things I need. I know jigging spoons will probably be on the top of everyones list, is there anything else that works in the cold weather.

Re: Starting early.
I would have a PNJ handy. My best suggestion however is talk with the driver beforehand and ask where, and what type of fishing you should expect. If he's a shore pounder, even in Feb you need a lot different baits, then deeper fishing. I've also had success with baby flukes being dead sticked.
