The Mini King is a very good relatively inexpensive spinnerbait. Stock up. I build a ton of light tackle baits and I modeled my own spinnerbait based on the Mini King. I improved it as I saw fit.

I throw tiny 1/8oz. spinnerbaits with my light action rod and ultra lite reel. I combine this with 4 pound test for a great little ultra-lite setup. There are all kinds of great spinnerbaits to use, bomber bushwackers, blue fox big crappie spinnerbaits, strike kings, the list goes on forever . I don't think there is anything funner than battling a 2 to 3 pound bass on ultra-lite equipment!

Yes throwing those on a ultralight is loads of fun when you hook a good size bass i've caught smallmouth bass over 4lb on those those spinnerbaits.

Same here! I use this setup fishing for smallies on my local creek. It's also a great rig for my 5 year old. He always wants to use the baits I'm using and these smaller spinners allows him to do that with rather ease.

Hurry spring hurry! ;D

funner ky? here is your sign -it says have to brush my tooth on it-

i use the 1/8 oz strike king spinner bait and the 1/8 oz buzz bait. i use the buzzer later in the summer when the fish shy away from a regular buzz bait or pop-r. you don't need to add a second hook on them for sure.

Did you here about the Big ruckus down at the river, literally a WAR. The KY's were throwing sticks of dynamite at the hoosiers, and the hoosiers were LIGHTING IT and throwing it back.

The baits should normally run about 1.59 or so.
