how in the world do these member ranks such as newbie, junior , full member and so forth work?

might want to post this on the non fishing related board

the ranks go by as many post as you have. if you have over 500 posts, you are a god. im not sure the exact number of posts forr the other ones.

Well you send in $5.00 for as many stars as you want. You are issued a card which is good for 10% off for each star. 3 stars 30%, 1 star 10% and so on. PM me and I'll send you my address. You send me a money order and I'll send out your card.

Just kidding. It's how many times you post. Takes like 500 to become a Yabb God. If you want good advice though don't strive to become a god. You'll get more respect from the board members by asking good questions and participating in a mature manner. Some people post here to get the rank which means nothing anyway

I think at 150 you become a full member.
