Default swim'n image

i'm sure most folks already know about the swim'n image (Bill Dance signature lure) but I've been slap killing some fish with it. I showed it to a couple of my buddies and we kid that it only catches big fish. It almost isn't a joke except for a bluegill that was brave enough to hit it. this thing looks just like a shad and is a shallow running bait. awesome.

and by big fish i mean 2#s and up but a few 6's or so

The spittin image Jr works great on smallmouth bass too. You have to use heavy line or it likes to foul out on the front hook. P N J

i have the same problem with the swim'n but it's been worth the trouble. I'm going to try it with a red treble on the front too and see how it does. i hate to try to fix something until it breaks though.
