Another first
Went out last night to put something in the boat and noticed the main power switch was on. I then noticed the depthfinder was on. Well, dummy me didn't turn everything off when I pulled the boat out of the water last week. Needless to say my cranking battery was a bit drained-it is now on the charger. Re: Another first
That is why I always unhook my battery when I pull out of the water. My motor is a pull crank, so I don't have a crankin' battery. My battery is only for my accessories that I have on the boat.

Yeah, I need to start pulling my battery cable. I have a 2y/o who loves daddies boat. He gets in and if it will flip, turn, move or be ripped off he will find it. But its great watching him sit behind the steering wheel yelling vroom, vroom. 8)
