Default Best Spring Time Lure for Cold Water

I know the water is still cold, and i was just wondering what some of the best lures were for bass? Spinnerbait, Crankbait, Soft Plastics??? Water clarity is mostly clear.

I'd throw one of two things: A jig-n-pig in cover, and a suspending jerkbait like a Suspending Rogue or an XRap. Depends on how cold the water is, but my first instinct is to throw a suspending jerkbait. The colder the water the slower you fish it.

where i live this time of year water temp is around 50-55 degrees, and i like to slow retrieve cranks and jerkbaits, and drop shot with a 4" worm off creek beds and points, seems to work really well for me
