Default Smallmouth Bass

I know the local reservoir has some awesome smallmouth fishing. What are some of the better lures to use in murky water? I am fishing from shore. thanks!

Well, in murky water bass depend on noise and vibration more than anything to locate their prey, and there not realy willing to chase fast moving prey. use a bright colored, slow moving, noisy lure. (Rapala Rattle Rap, natural crawfish color)also depending on how deep the resivior is you might want to try jigging a plastic crawfish on the bottom.

I would try crankbaits, soft plastics, and some spinner baits. If you can fish around first light or sunset also try topwaters like a skitterpop or a smaller popper,
