Default Boat

Well, it looks like I might finally get a boat ;D Since I am 19 and my fishing buddy is 20, we don't exactly have money for one. However, it turns out that some of my family still have the boat my GREAT grandpa used, yeah you heard me right. They said they just spiffed it up with a paint job and such. They said I could probably just have it. It is really old, but as long as it floats me and my friend don't mind.

The thing is you may end up catching so many fish out of that old boat, you will always miss it when you finally upgrade. There are many times I wish I had my first boat back.Thought I had to have a Bass boat ,bought a 20 foot nitro, sold it and went back to the tin boat again. It ain't my first boat ,but its already found a place to call home, most of my buddies pick on it alot, but they all fish out of it and it gets us out on the water to fish with out worrying about scratches or big payment books attached. ;D P N J

I fish out of a early 60s model Sears aluminum boat - I've noticed since I fixed it up with a deck I have been getting lots of complements at the ramp from people driving expensive Tritons and Rangers. There is a lot to be said for old boats, just take your time and fix it up right and importantly, how you want it.

ERRRR, well bad news. Someone in my family decided to be complicated about it. She doesn't want it goin anywhere, which kinda makes me mad because now it is just going to sit there. So me and my friend are back to the drawing board on trying to get a boat. >

Yeah, it has a sentimental value I suppose which I guess I can understand. Me and my friend will figure something out. It's just we have no pond to fish in, and conservation lakes around here are terrible unless you got a boat.
