Default Heaviest line ever for bass

me i have used 25 pound mono before but thats the highest i have ever gone. Most of the lakes are clearer up here and i don't Carolina rig a whole lot or flip.

some on here use up to 50lb braid....i use 20lb braid...i fish heavy cover so it does me fine...i have never had it snap. 20lb braid is the heaviest i have used 8)

i only use 8 lb mono and rearely ever snap it. as long as you be sure there are no kinks, or divets in your line it most likely wont snap

jeez, that 8lb mono wont do down here with all this cover.....down here if you want to get the fish you need braid 8)
