I don't know how deep they were but it was a Norman DD22 crankbait. If it were smallmouth bass, I have caught them as deep as 90+ ft during the winter but I don't fish for largemouth during the winter because they don't bite well like the smallmouth do . P N J

52 feet a foot off the bottom with a 3/4 oz jigging spoon . water temp was 39 degrees on lake tillery in january. i thought at first it was a striper cause the bass was that white-think bleached.

50 plus feet in the middle of a man made lake. Dropshottin for bream with a worm in the original river channel.

Probably about 12ft, on a deep hole in a river bend. T-rigged red shad culprit.

Yikes, my deepest largemouth is maybe around 10 ft...

Most of them are 8 and under.

I don't think they like the really deep water... too cold.

the biggest jersey bass i hooked into was about 27ft on a big black jig.water temp was about 38.broke off...it was 10 easy.i'm still hunting for her.she is my quest in life.i WILL get her someday.all my free fishing time goes into getting this fish.the lake is only 53 acres.deepest hole is 30ft.i had her 3 times already.she either spit the jig or broke off.always got her on a jig.
do any of you guys or gals have a fish like that?
